SCARECROW FESTIVAL 2012

The 2012 festival has been and gone!(5th, 6th & 7th May weekend)

And what a great weekend it has been. There were some amazing scarecrows. The heavy rain stayed away and lots and lots of people came to do the scarecrow trails.  A VERY BIG thank you to everyone who made a scarecrow and to all the volunteers to who worked so hard both before, and during the festival weekend.

We now have the pleasure in sharing the £4,198.54 that we raised, between Mercy Ships and local organisations – thank you for a fine team effort! Also, two other refreshment stops (private addresses) raised £102 and £600+ for the Alzheimers Society.
