The service proceeds following a printed order of service that everyone recieves as they arrive. Each element in the service is separated by a short silence and no announcements are made.
The chants come from Taize and other contemporary sources. The whole congrgation sings (unless you’d rather remain in silence) accompanied by a small music group usually including organ, flute, violin, cello and clarinet. Words for the chants are printed in the order of service and congregation remain seated.
The service also includes a reading from the bible, other reflections and prayers, and a long silence of about 15 minutes. There is no talk or sermon.
