The church's mission statement says that:
The Methodist Church serving Haxby & Wigginton seeks to be a beacon in the local community for faith in Christ, and love and service to all.
We welcome people of all ages and backgrounds and offer a Young Church, children's organisations, and a wide variety of groups for adulthoods, including house groups.
